A forum about the sustainability of mountain regions
The Forum ecovillages, renamed Moving Mountains in 2019, takes place every year in Les Diablerets, Switzerland. It was created in 2012 at the instigation of Michael Liebreich with the support of the Commune of Ormont-Dessus, following Switzerland’s decision to go nuclear-free.
The idea was to offer a platform for exchange and debate and to present innovative projects for the Alpine valleys that could inspire the village of Les Diablerets in particular and be replicable for other regions in Switzerland and throughout the world.
Since 2017 Kaosmovies has been producing the teaser and aftermovie of the event and also provides digital services. For the 2017 edition, we have notably conducted a Facebook campaign to raise awareness of the ecovillages Forum. During this campaign the number of subscribers to the Forum page rose to over 2000.
The 2019 Theme: “Sharing Sustainable Knowledge”.
The 2018 theme: “Sustaining climate change: managing risks and seizing opportunities”.
The one for 2017: “Smart Villages, sustainable economy for villages”.
In 2016, under the theme “Smart villages, between technologies and mentality change”, the Web TV Les Visionautes, for which Kaosmovies produces content, also produced two programs (see below).
